Wellness In Thought provides professional, person-centred counselling in a safe, respectful, and non-judgemental environment. We are committed to delivering compassionate, evidence-informed support that empowers individuals to create meaningful and sustainable change in their lives.
We have a special interest in working with people impacted by drug and alcohol challenges, young people navigating developmental and life transitions, and carers who may be experiencing stress, burnout, or emotional strain. We recognise that these experiences often intersect with mental health concerns, trauma, family dynamics, and identity development, and we take a holistic, strengths-based approach to care.
Our practice prioritises the therapeutic relationship, ensuring clients feel heard, validated, and supported at every stage of their journey. Counselling is tailored to each individual’s needs, goals, and circumstances.
To enhance accessibility and flexibility, we offer multiple therapy formats including telephone and secure video sessions, as well as in-person community-based appointments. Walk-and-talk sessions in local parks or agreed public spaces are also available for clients who benefit from movement-based or less formal therapeutic environments.
Our goal is to provide flexible, accessible counselling that meets people where they are — both emotionally and practically.
